Megan Govindan
SERVICE INSTRUCTOR; DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP & SOCIAL ACTION, WVU CENTER FOR RESILIENT COMMUNITIES
Megan Govindan is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist that uses action-based research to examine food systems, public health, and community geography. She leads the Health Equity Lab at WVU Center for Resilient Communities housed in the Department of Geology and Geography in the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences. Her lab is an experimental space for action-based, practicum experiences and research to advance health equity promote sustainable, resilient and healthy food systems. Research is conducted in partnership with community advocates, local governments, scholars and students locally and nationally.
